INGREDIENTS:

  1. Pea - 1 cup
  2. Tofu - 1 packet
  3. Onion - 2
  4. Tomato - 2
  5. Garlic - 2
  6. Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
  7. Chili powder - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
  8. Garam masala powder - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
  9. Oil - 3 to 4 tablespoon (tbsp.)
  10. Salt - to taste

PREPARATION:

  1. Grind onion, garlic into fine paste by adding less water as possible.
  2. Grind tomato separately into a paste and keep it aside.
  3. Break tofu in a blender by running it once.
  4. In a pan heat oil; add ground onion paste and cook until oil separates.
  5. Now add coriander powder, chili powder, garam masala powder and sauté for a minute.
  6. Now add tomato and sauté for a another minute.
  7. Now add the pea, salt to taste, 1 cup of water and bring it to boil.
  8. Now add the tofu; simmer and cook until oil start floating and serve.

NOTES:

  1. Goes well with chapati.
