INGREDIENTS:
- Mushroom - 200 grams
- Dry chili - 5
- Black pepper - little
- Turmeric powder - 1/4 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Garam masala powder - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Onion - 50 grams
- Shredded coconut - from 1/4 coconut
- Curry leaf - few
- Oil - 1/4 ladle
- Salt - as required.
PREPARATION:
- Powder black pepper.
- Grind garam masala powder, dry chili, garlic, onion in to fine thick paste by adding little water as possible.
- Grind coconut into a thick fine paste. Add turmeric powder, salt to coconut and mix well.
- Heat oil in a pan. Reduce to low heat add the ground onion paste, coconut paste, curry leaf, black pepper, mushroom. Stir and cook without adding any water until the mushroom is sautéed and cooked to right thick consistency then serve.
NOTES:
- Don't add extra water since mushroom will also release water.
