INGREDIENTS:
- Paneer (fresh cheese) - 1 packet
- Green peas - 150 gram
- Tomato - 3
- Onion - 2
- Ghee - 2 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Garam masala powder - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Chili powder - 3 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Cashews - 10
- Salt - for taste.
PREPARATION:
- Grind onion into fine paste (less or no water is better) and keep it aside.
- Grind tomato into fine paste (no water is better) and keep it aside.
- Grind cashew into fine paste as little water as needed and keep it aside.
- Cook or steam green peas and keep it aside.
- Soak paneer for 10 minutes in water.
- In a pan heat ghee once heated add ground onion and cook until golden brown.
- Now add the ground tomato and cook until oil separates.
- Now add the cashew paste and sauté for 2 to 3 minutes.
- Now add the cooked green pea and cook for 5 minutes. (stir time to time)
- Now add turmeric powder, chili powder, salt to taste, garam masala and coriander powder. Stir and bring to boil.
- Now add the paneer cubes and stir once. Simmer and cook for 10 minutes.
- Then remove and serve.
NOTES:
- Goes well with chapati.
