INGREDIENTS:
- Ladies finger - 1/2 kilogram
- Shredded coconut - 1/2 cup
- Cumin seed - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Dry chili - 5
- Mustard seed - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Asafoetida powder - 1/4 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Oil - 3 tablespoon (tbsp.)
- Salt - as needed.
PREPARATION:
- Chop ladies finger into small pieces.
- Grind coconut, cumin seeds, dry chili, salt as needed by adding 2 tablespoon (tbsp.) water into a paste.
- In a pan heat oil, add mustard seeds once it stop splattering add asafoetida, ladies finger and sauté for 2 minutes.
- Place a lid and cook for 10 minutes stirring time to time to avoid burning.
- Now add the ground coconut and mix well. Add 3 tablespoon (tbsp.) of water and sauté for 3 to 4 minutes and serve.
