INGREDIENTS:
- Broccoli - 1 spear
- Potato - 1
- Chopped Onion - 1
- Chopped Tomato - 2
- Chili powder - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Turmeric powder - 1/4 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Garam masala powder - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Oil - as needed
- Salt - as needed
PREPARATION:
- Remove the stem from broccoli and get the flowers. Break the flower into pieces.
- Remove the skin and cut the potato into bit size cubes.
- In a pan heat oil. Add sauté the onion. Now add the tomatoes and sauté until they become mushy.
- Now add and cook the potato cubes until they are cooked half.
- Now add chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder, salt and mix well.
- Now add the broccoli and cook this for 10 minutes until broccoli and potato are cooked and serve.
NOTES:
- Goes well with chapati, sambar rice.
- SPEAR: a section of entire head that includes both stalk and floret.
