INGREDIENTS:
- Whole wheat flour - 1 cup
- Maida or all purpose flour - 2 tablespoon (tbsp.)
- Ripe banana - 1
- Salt - to taste
- Baking powder - 1/4 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Oil - to cook
- Warm water - as required
PREPARATION:
- Mash the ripe banana well.
- Mix all the ingredient except oil to a dough. Knead this dough for few minutes until the dough becomes pliable and soft. Keep this aside for 10 - 20 minutes.
- Now make small 2 inch balls and flatten them to thin sheet.
- Heat a skillet in low heat until the surface gets really hot. Now coat the skillet surface with oil and bring the heat to low.
- Now place the chapati and cook for 1 minute side down. Now sprinkle oil around the chapati and flip it over and cook for a 1 minute and serve. NOTE: you should remove the chapati when its white at both sides.
NOTES:
- You should cook this chapati in low heat.
