INGREDIENTS:
- Curry leaves - 1 cup or 1/2 cup
- Coriander seeds - 1 teaspoon (tsp)
- Uluttam paruppu (split black gram) - 1 tablespoon (tbsp)
- Tamarind - gooseberry (nellikai) size
- Hot dry or green chili - 5
- Garlic - 3 cloves
- Oil - 2 to 4 tablespoon (tbsp)
- Salt - to taste
PREPARATION:
- Heat oil in a pan add Uluttam paruppu (split black gram), coriander seeds until you can smell them being roasted.
- Now add the curry leaves and cook for 2-3 min and cool them down to room temperature.
- In a blender (mixi) add water as needed and grind all the ingredients into a fine paste to thick consistency and serve.
