INGREDIENTS:
- Rice flour - 1/2 kilogram
- Soaked split green gram - 1/2 cup
- Ginger - 1 inch
- Green chili - 5
- Unsalted butter - 1/4 cup
- Chopped Curry leaves - as needed
- Oil - to deep fry
- Salt - to taste
PREPARATION:
- Grind green chili, ginger into a fine paste by adding little water. Now squeeze the juice of this and keep it aside.
- Now mix rice flour, ginger chili juice, butter, curry leaves, salt into a soft dough.
- Make small balls out of the dough and flatten them into a thin round sheet.
- Now deep fry these thin sheet golden brown on both sides and serve.
NOTES:
- For better result fry them in batches so the oil does not cool down fast. Oil temperature should be close 350 degree Fahrenheit all the time.
