INGREDIENTS:
- Maida flour - 1 cup
- Rice flour - 1/2 cup
- Chili powder - 1 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Asafoetida powder - 1/4 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Cooking soda - pinch
- Sesame seed - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Finely chopped Curry leaf - 5 to 10 count
- Soaked splt bengal gram - 1 tablespoon (tbsp.)
- Oil - to fry.
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
PREPARATION:
- In a bowl add maida flour, rice flour, cooking soda, salt, asafoetida powder, chili powder, soaked bengal gram, water as needed and knead to a soft dough.
- Now add 1 tablespoon (tbsp.) oil to the dough and knead well.
- Now add chopped curry leaves to the dough and knead well.
- Now add the sesame seeds to the dough and knead well.
- Keep the kneaded dough aside for 30 minutes.
- Make small balls out of the dough and flatten the very thin to round sheet.
- Heat oil in pan. Now add (one or more) sheet and cook them both side to golden brown and serve.
NOTES:
- Servings: 4, Cooking time: 30 min
