INGREDIENTS:
- Rice - 1 cup
- Peas - 3/4 cup
- Coconut milk - 2 cup
- Ginger garlic paste - 2 teaspoon (tsp)
- Ghee - 2 table spoon
- Fennel seeds - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp)
- Cardamom - 2
- Cinnamon stick - 1/2 inch
- Cloves - 2
- Bay leaves - 1
- Salt - to taste
PREPARATION:
- Wash and clean the rice with water and keep it aside.
- In a pan heat ghee when it melted add cardamom, cinnamon stick, cloves, bay leaves and cook for 1 min.
- Now add the peas, stir and cook for 2-3 min.
- Now add the rice and cook for 1 min. Now add the ginger garlic paste and cook for another minute.
- Add the coconut milk bring to boil then reduce heat simmer and cook until the rice is done.
NOTES:
- You can cook in pressure cooker the rice as well at the step 5.
