INGREDIENTS:
- Lemon - 2
- Peanut (no skin) - 50 grams
- Cooked Rice - as needed ( 2 to 3 cup)
- Mustard seed - little
- Split black gram - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Split bengal gram - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Asafoetida powder -1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Dry chili - 2 or to your spice preference
- Turmeric - 1/4 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Oil - 1 ladle
- Salt - as needed
PREPARATION:
- Squeeze the lemons and get the juice.
- Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds; once they stop splattering. Add black gram, bengal gram, asafoetida powder, pea nuts, dry chili, turmeric powder and sauté until the nuts and grams are roasted golden brown.
- Now add the lemon juice from lemons, salt and cook until the oil separates or the thickness of your preference.
- Now add this to cooked rice mix well and serve.
