INGREDIENTS:
- Cooked rice - 1 cup (little paste consistency)
- Curd (yogurt) - 1 cup
- Milk - 1/4 cup (you can substitute water)
- Butter - 1 teaspoon (tsp)
- Mustard seed - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp)
- Split Bengal gram (Kadalaiparuppu) - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp)
- Ginger - 1/2 inch
- Green chili - 1
- Soaked and dried green chilies in butter milk (Moor Milagai) - 4 (optional)
- Curry leaves - 5
- Mango piece - 2 inch
- Coriander leaves - 10
- Oil - 2 tablespoon (tbsp)
- Salt - to taste
PREPARATION:
- Cut ginger, green chili, mango, coriander leaves into fine pieces.
- In a pan mix cooked rice, milk, butter, salt until the rice become like a paste.
- Now add the mango, coriander leaves, Moor milagai and mix well.
- In a pan heat oil, add mustard seed when it start splattering add Bengal gram, ginger, green chili, curry leaves and cook for 2- 3 minutes. Add this to mixture of cooked rice, mix well an serve.
