INGREDIENTS:
- Broccoli - 1
- Cooked rice - 1 cup
- Sliced Onion - 2
- Tomato - 2
- Mint leaf - a handful
- Ginger garlic paste - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Garam masala recipe - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Green chili - 4
- Bay leaf - 2
- Oil - as needed
- Salt - as needed
PREPARATION:
- Cut the broccoli and drop it into boiling water and keep it for 10 minutes covered. After 10 minutes drain all he water from the broccoli and grind to coarse in a blender (mixer). NOTE: don't grind too much 2 to 3 spin in blender (mixer) should be good.
- In the blender grind tomato, green chili into a fine paste.
- In a pan heat oil add by leaf, garam masala, sliced onion, salt and sauté until the onion is cooked half.
- Now add the mint leaves and sauté well. Once this is sautéed add tomato, green chili and mix well.
- Now add broccoli then cover with lid and cook by stirring time to time for 5 minutes.
- Now add the rice and mix well until rice is well coated and serve.
NOTES:
- Goes well with chickpea (channa), chicken gray.
