INGREDIENTS:

  1. Whole wheat - 1 cup
  2. Fresh shredded coconut - 2 teaspoon (tsp.)
  3. Sugar - 1/2 cup
  4. Cardamom powder - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
  5. Ghee - 50 gram

PREPARATION:

  1. Roast the whole wheat to golden brown and grind to coarse flour in a mixer or blender. Add little by little water and mix the flour to shredded coconut consistency. NOTE: Make sure you don't add lot of water (when you steam the water will pass through the dough and some will be observed) and the flour is wet enough.
  2. Now add the shredded coconut, salt to taste to flour and mix well.
  3. With the help of puttu make steam 15 min the raw puttu and serve.
  4. Serve this with ghee, sugar, cardamom powder.
