INGREDIENTS:
- Plantain (banana or vazhaikkai) - 3
- Shallots (Chinna Venkgayam) - 15
- Green chili - 5
- Oil - 2 tablespoon (tbsp)
- Curry leaves (optional) - 5
- Mustard seed and Split black gram - 1 tablespoon (tbsp)
- Cumin seed - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp)
- Split bengal gram - 1 teaspoon (tsp)
- Fresh shredded coconut - 2 tablespoon (tbsp)
- Salt - to taste
PREPARATION:
- Boil the plantain, remove the skin and shredded them.
- Cut the shallot and green chili into fine pieces.
- In a pan heat oil, add mustard seed, split black gram, cumin seed, spilt bengal gram and cook until mustard seed stop to splatter.
- Now add the green chili, onion, curry leaves and cooking until onion turns golden brown.
- Now add the shredded plantain and cook for 5 to 10 min.
- Now add shredded coconut mix well and serve.
