INGREDIENTS:
- Finely chopped Green beans - 1/4 kilogram
- Garlic - 4 to 5 cloves with skin
- Turmeric powder - 1/4 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Salt - as needed
- -- For Tempering --
- Mustard seed - 1/4 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Split black gram - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Curry leaf - 5 count
- Oil - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
PREPARATION:
- Coarsely grind garlic.
- Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard, split black gram. Once the mustard stop splattering add green beans, turmeric powder, salt and mix well. Place a lid and cook this in medium heat. NOTE: you can also add little water while cooking.
- Once the green beans is cooked. add garlic then mix well. Cook this for 2 or 3 minutes or until the garlic raw smell is gone and then serve.
NOTES:
- Goes well with sambar rice.
