INGREDIENTS:

  1. Plantain - 1
  2. Onion - 1
  3. Green chili - 3
  4. Ginger - 1 inch
  5. Garlic - 6 cloves
  6. Coriander leaf - 10
  7. Curry leaf - 5
  8. Mustard seed - 1/4 teaspoon (tsp.)
  9. Oil - 3 tablespoon (tbsp.)
  10. Salt - to taste

PREPARATION:

  1. Skin the plantain and slice into 1/4 inch pieces. Thinly slice onions.
  2. Grind green chili, ginger, garlic, coriander leaves, curry leaves into to fine paste by adding little water as possible.
  3. Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seed once it stop splattering add onion and cook until it turns golden brown.
  4. Now add ground paste, salt to taste and cook until raw smell is gone.
  5. Now add the plantain and sauté for 2 -3 minutes.
  6. Now sprinkle some water. Simmer and cook for 10 minutes until the plantain is cooked and serve.
