INGREDIENTS:
- Asparagus - 1 bunch
 - Onion - 1/2
 - Garlic - 3 cloves
 - Turmeric powder - 1 teaspoon (tsp)
 - Hot chili powder - 1 teaspoon (tsp)
 - Coriander powder - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp)
 - Black pepper powder - 1/4 teaspoon (tsp)
 - Mustard seed - 1 teaspoon (tsp)
 - Curry leaves (optional) - 5
 - Oil - 3 tablespoon (tbsp)
 - Salt - to taste
 
PREPARATION:
- Cut onion and garlic into fine pieces.
 - Cut Asparagus into 1/2 inch pieces (remove the thick stem at the bottom if you don't like them)
 - Heat oil in a pan add mustard seed, curry leaves and cook until mustard seed stop spattering.
 - Now add the garlic and cook for 2 min. Add cut onions and cook until they turn golden brown.
 - Now add turmeric powder, cut Asparagus, salt as needed and cook for 2-3 min,.
 - Now add the hot chili powder, coriander powder, black pepper powder and cook until the asparagus is cooked and the raw smell is gone ( you don't need to add water as it cooks faster) and serve.
