INGREDIENTS:
- Vermicelli - 1 cup (broken)
- Sugar - 1 1/2 or 1.5 cup
- Milk - 4 cups
- Cardamom - 4
- Cashews - 10
- Raisins - 10
- Ghee - 4 tablespoon (tbsp)
- Saffron - a pinch
PREPARATION:
- In a pan melt 2 table spoon of ghee fry cashews, raisins until raisins plump and keep it aside.
- In the same pan add 2 table spoon of ghee and melt it. Now add the vermicelli and fry until it turns brown. (or for 2-5 min) and keep it aside.
- In a pan add milk and bring it to boil. Now add the vermicelli, fried cashews, raisins, crushed cardamom, saffron.
- Simmer and cook until the right thickness is reached. Once the right consistency is reached server hot.
