INGREDIENTS:
- Shredded carrot - 2
- Milk - 2 cup
- Vermicelli - 1 cup
- Sugar - 1 cup
- Water - 1 cup
- Ghee - 3 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Cashew, raisins, cardamom - as needed
PREPARATION:
- Melt little ghee in a pan and roast the cashew, raisins and keep them aside.
- In same pan add more ghee and roast eh vermicelli and keep it aside. Now add the shredded carrot and roast them for up to 8 minutes to remove excess moisture. NOTE: don't roast the dry.
- Now to it add water, milk, roasted vermicelli, a pinch of salt and cook them. Once this mixture is cooked well. Add sugar and crushed cardamom and cook until the right thickness is reached.
- Before you remove from heat add the roasted cashew and raisins. then serve.
