INGREDIENTS:
- Goat or lamb trotters (feet) - 2
- Onion - 2
- Tomato - 2
- Green chili - 2
- Pigeon pea - 2 tablespoon (tbsp.)
- Fennel seed - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Cumin seed - 1/2 teaspoon(tsp.)
- Cloves - 5
- Cinnamon stick - 1 inch
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Oil - tablespoon (tbsp.)
- Salt - to taste
PREPARATION:
- Clean and cut the goat or lamb feet.
- Cut onion, tomato, green chili into fine pieces.
- Add 4 to 5 cups of water to the goat and lamb feet, onion, tomatoes, green chili, pigeon pea. Pressure cook to 6 whistle (NOTE: you using pan simmer and cook until the bones are tender). Remove the lid when the pressure is gone. Add salt to taste and mix well.
- Heat oil, add fennel seeds, cumin seeds, cloves, cinnamon stick and cook for 1-2 minute. Add this to the soup and serve
