INGREDIENTS:

  1. Mutton or goat meat with bones - 1/4 kilo gram
  2. Onion - 1
  3. Ripe Tomatoes - 2
  4. Ginger garlic paste - 1 tablespoon (tbsp)
  5. Coriander leaves - 1 bunch
  6. Oil - 2 tablespoon (tbsp)
  7. Garlic - 3 cloves
  8. Black pepper - 1 teaspoon (tsp)
  9. Fennel seeds - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp)
  10. Cinnamon stick - 2 small pieces
  11. Fennel seed powder - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp)
  12. Cumin seed powder - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp)
  13. Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp)
  14. Hot Green chilies - 2
  15. Salt - to taste

PREPARATION:

  1. Cut and clean mutton pieces into 1 inch cubes.
  2. Cut onions, tomatoes into fine pieces.
  3. Wash coriander leaves and cut them into fine pieces.
  4. Spit horizontally hot green chilies into 2 parts.
  5. In pressure cooker add the mutton, ginger garlic paste, fennel seed powder, cumin seed powder and cup of water and cooker for 3-4 whistle. Remove the pressure cooker and keep it aside.
  6. Once the pressure is released from the cooker. remove the lid add 1 cup of water, cut onion, tomatoes, green chili, turmeric powder and cook this for another 10-15 min and then simmer.
  7. In a pestle crush garlic, black pepper, fennel seed into a powder.
  8. Heat oil in another pan, add the cinnamon stick and the ground powder(garlic, black pepper and fennel seed) and cook for 2-3 min.
  9. Now add this the simmering soup, add the coriander leaves as well and Cook the soup now for 2-5 min and serve.

NOTES:

  1. If you don't have pressure cooker, you can cook the mutton in a pan until the meat is well done. And the rest of the steps are the same.
