INGREDIENTS:
- Chicken with bones - 100 grams
- Finely chopped onion - 1
- Finely chopped tomato - 1
- Finely chopped ginger - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Finely chopped garlic - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Mint and Coriander leaves - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Cinnamon stick - 1 small piece
- Black pepper - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Black pepper powder - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Pigeon pea - 3 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Butter - 2 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Salt - as needed.
PREPARATION:
- Melt butter in pressure cooker. Add cinnamon stick, onion and sauté until the onion turns translucent (golden brown).
- Now add tomato and sauté until oil separates.
- Now add ginger, garlic, black pepper, pigeon pea, coriander leaves, mint leaves and sauté until raw smell gone.
- Now add the chicken pieces, salt to taste and sauté until water is sweated from chicken.
- Now add water as needed (say 2 - 3 cups) and pressure cook for 4 to 5 whistle.
- Once the pressure is gone, serve by adding pepper powder.
