INGREDIENTS:
- Thinai (foxtail millet) - 1 cup
- Shredded jaggery - 1/2 cup
- Honey - 2 tablespoon (tbsp.)
- Ghee - 2 tablespoon (tbsp.)
- Cardamom - 1 (optional)
PREPARATION:
- Clean and wash the thinai (foxtail millet) and dry it in shade for 15 to 20 minutes by spreading on a dry cloth. No need to dry completely. Now grind this to a fine powder (flour).
- Grind cardamom, jaggery in a mixer and keep it aside.
- Now add honey, jaggery, Ghee to Thinai (foxtail millet) flour and mix well to a dough. NOTE: add more ghee if you need to.
- Now make balls (urundai) out of the dough and serve.
