INGREDIENTS:
- Oats - 1 cup
- Jaggery - 1/2 cup
- Sugar - 1/2 cup
- Ghee - 1/2 cup
- Cardamon - 2
- Cashews - as needed (10 count)
- Raisins - as needed (10 count)
PREPARATION:
- Crush the cardamom to small pieces.
- In a pan melt 2 table spoon of butter, fry the cashews, raisins until the raisin plumps and the cashew get golden brown. Remove and keep them aside.
- In the same pan add the oats and fry them until they are turning brown color and keep it aside to cool down.
- In a blender (mixi) grind the oats coarsely . Now add the jaggery to the ground oats and grind for 1 min and keep it aside.
- Now mix all the ingredients except Ghee
- Now melt the ghee and add to oats mixture. Mix well and make them into round balls (laddu) when the mixture is warm.
NOTES:
- Grind to oats to coarse for better result.
- Its easy make laddu when the mixture is warm.
