INGREDIENTS:
- Tomato - 3
- Potato - 3
- Cumin seed - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Mustard seed - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Onion - 1
- Dry chili - 2
- Curry leaf - 8
- Coriander leaf - 20
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Oil - 2 tablespoon (tbsp.)
- Salt - as needed.
PREPARATION:
- Chop onion, tomato, potato and dry chili into small pieces.
- In a pan heat oil. Now add cumin seeds, mustard seeds. once the mustard stop splattering.
- Now add onion, curry leaf and sauté until oil turn translucent (golden brown).
- Now add onion, tomato, potato, dry chili, turmeric powder, salt to taste and sauté for 2 of minutes.
- Now add 1/2 cup of water and bring to boil and cook until well done. i.e. tomato, potato turns easy to mash.
- Mash the cooked potato and tomato with a masher (mathu refer image below), garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
