INGREDIENTS:
- Snake gourd - 1
- Split black gram - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Bengal gram - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Dry chili - 1
- Salt - 1 teaspoon (tsp.) or as needed.
- Sugar (optional) - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Fresh shredded coconut - 2 tablespoon (tbsp.)
- Oil - 1 1/2 tablespoon (tbsp.0
PREPARATION:
- Clean, cut into pieces and wash the snake gourd. Drain the water and keep it aside.
- In a pan heat oil. add dry chili, split black gram, bengal gram and sauté for about a minutes or until sauteed.
- Now add the snake gourd prices and mix well. Sprinkle 2 tablespoon of water if need. Cover with lid and cook this for about 10 minute or until cooked by stirring time to time.
- Now add salt, coconut, salt. Mix well and cook this for 2 minutes until they all come together then serve.
NOTES:
- Goes well with sambar rice.
