INGREDIENTS:
- Gongura leaves | Pulicha keerai - 1 bunch
- Chopped shallot | small onion - 6
- Chopped Tomato - 1
- -- For Tempering --- Mustard seed - 1/4 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Split black gram | Urad dal - 1/4 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Dry chili - 2
- Oil - 2 teaspoon (tsp.)
 
- Salt - to taste
PREPARATION:
- Boil and cook the Gongura leaves | Pulicha keerai with 1/4 cup of water.
- Cool the gongura leaves and grind them to a paste in a blender.
- In a pan heat oil and add mustard seed when it start to splatter add split black gram, dry chili when split gram turns golden brown.
- Add the cut onion and cook until it turns golden brown. Now add the tomato and cook until oil sperates.
- Now add the ground gongura leaves, salt to taste. Mix and cook well for 2 - 3 min. Remove and serve.
