INGREDIENTS:
- Samba wheat - 1 cup
- Salt - a pinch
- Ghee - 1/2 cup
- Cashew nut - 50 gram
- Cardamom - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Milk maid (optional) - 5 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Saffron or food color - a pinch
- Sugar - 3/4 cup
PREPARATION:
- Roast the cardamom in ghee and keep it aside.

- -- Making Wheat Milk - (1/2 liter)

- NOTE: Milk should be approx. 1/2 liter.
- Soak wheat submerged in water for at least 8 hours.
- Grind the soak wheat by adding water. drain the water (milk).
- Now grind the drained ground wheat with water and filter the water (milk)..

- Keep the milk for at least 4 hours. After 4 hours add sugar, saffron, a pinch of salt and mix well.

- In a heavy pan or iron skillet add the wheat milk. Heat this and cook by stirring continuously without burning until become very think and start to sticking to pan.
- Add little ghee time to time and stir continue cooking.
- Once the ghee start to separate add milk made (if you like), crushed cardamom, roasted cardamom. Stir and continue cooking until all the ghee separated about 30 minutes.
- After 30 minutes of cooking drain the ghee from the halwa.
- Now serve the halwa..
