INGREDIENTS:

  1. Carrot - 1/4 kilogram
  2. Ghee - 3 teaspoon (tsp.)
  3. Shredded Jaggery - 150 gram
  4. Cashew nut - as needed
  5. Raisins - as needed

PREPARATION:

  1. Remove the skin from the carrot and cook them by steaming. once cooked grind the cooked carrot to a paste.
  2. Heat ghee in a pan. add carrot paste and mix well. Cook this until halwa consistency is reached. i.e. ghee separated . Remove from heat. NOTE: if you feel like its getting burn add more ghee.
  3. In a pan melt ghee and roast the cashew and raisins. Add to cooked carrot mix well and serve.
