INGREDIENTS:
- Egg - 3
- Onion - 1
- Tomato - 3
- Green chili - 2
- Garlic - 4
- Chili powder - 1/4 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Black pepper powder - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Mustard seed - 1/4 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Split black gram - 1/4 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Curry leaf - 5
- Coriander leaf - 7
- Salt - 3/4 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Oil - 3 teaspoon (tsp.)
PREPARATION:
- Boil the egg and de-shell them.
- Chop onion, tomato, green chili into fine pieces. Crush the garlic.
- Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds, black grams; once the mustard stop splattering add tomato and sauté for 2 - 3 minutes.
- Now add chili powder, turmeric powder, black pepper powder, salt to taste, 1/2 cup water and bring to boil.
- Now add the egg (you can slit the egg) and cook boiling for 5 minutes. Before you remove from heat add curry leaves, coriander leaves and serve.
NOTES:
- Goes well with chapatti, puri, idli, dosai, white rice.
