INGREDIENTS:
- Green chili - 1 kilogram
- Flatten rice - 200 grams
- Curd or yogurt - 1/4 liter
- Cumin seed - 2 tablespoon (tbsp.)
- Fenugreek seed - 2 tablespoon (tbsp.)
- Mustard seed - 1 tablespoon (tbsp.)
- Salt - 2 tablespoon (tbsp.)
PREPARATION:
- Powder the fenugreek seed coarsely.
- Grind green chili coarsely with salt in a blender (mixer).
- Add ground chili, fenugreek seeds powder, mustard seeds, cumin seeds to curd or yogurt mix well. Keep this soaked for a day.
- Soak flatten rice in water for an hour. Drain the water and add this to the yogurt or curd mixture. Mix well.
- In the sun spread a plastic sheet. Make lemon size balls from the flatten rice and place them on the plastic sheet and press them flat. Dry this for 3 days or until its dehydrated of water.
- Shallow fry them and serve when you need them. Goes well with spicy kuzhambu's.
