INGREDIENTS:
- Gram flour - 2 cup
- Cooking soda - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Green chili paste - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
- -- For Tempering --
- Mustard seed - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Cumin seed - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Curry leaf - 6
- Mint leaf (optional) - little
- Coriander leaf - little
- Chat masala powder - 2 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Dry chili - 3
- Oil - 4 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Lemon juice – as needed
- Salt - as needed
PREPARATION:
- Mix green chili paste, gram flour, salt, cooking soda, water as needed and make batter consistency to idli batter.
- Now steam this batter in idli cooker. Once the batter is cooked well. Cool the cooked batter room temperature and cut them into small cubes. NOTE: no water should be in cooked batter cubes
- In pan heat oil. Now add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, dry chili. Once the seeds stop splattering add curry leaves, coriander leaves, mint leaves until the leaves are sautéed.
- Now add the cooked dhokla pieces, chat masala powder, lemon juice and cook until the dhokla pieces are well coated with masala and serve.
NOTES:
- Good healthy breakfast.
