INGREDIENTS:
- -- For making batter --
- Rice flour - 100 grams
- Black gram flour - 50 grams
- Egg - 1
- Sugar - 1/2 cup
- Coconut milk - 1 cup
- Maida flour - 1/4 cup
- Salt - 1/4 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Saffron - a pinch
- Sesame oil - 1/4 cup
- Ghee - 1 tablespoon (tbsp.)
PREPARATION:
- In a bowl add rice flour, black gram flour, maida flour, egg, saffron, salt to taste, coconut milk and make a batter by adding water as needed. NOTE: make sure when you make batter it does form clots.
- In a pan heat oil; now add the batter. Reduce heat; stir and cook until it get thick.
- Now add the sugar and continue cooking. Once the batter become like rava upma consistency. Add ghee and continue cooking for few minutes and serve.
NOTES:
- You can roast cashew nuts and add to the porridge and serve.
