INGREDIENTS:

  1. Goat or Lamb - 1/4 kilogram
  2. Finely chopped Tomato - 2
  3. Finely chopped Onion - 1
  4. Finely chopped Green chili - 3
  5. Finely Coriander leaf - 20
  6. Finely chopped Mint leaf - 15
  7. Ground coconut thick paste - 1/4 cup
  8. Ginger paste - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
  9. Garlic paste - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
  10. Chili powder - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
  11. Curry masala powder or garam masala powder - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
  12. Coriander powder - 3 teaspoon (tsp.)
  13. Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
  14. Oil - 2 teaspoon (tsp.)
  15. Salt - 1 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)

PREPARATION:

  1. Heat oil in a pressure cooker, add onion and cook until it turns golden brown.
  2. Now add the ginger, garlic paste and cook until the raw smell is gone. (about 2 minutes)
  3. Now add the tomato, mint leaf, slit green chili, coriander leaf and cook until oil separates.
  4. Now add the chili powder, turmeric powder and cook for a minute.
  5. Now add the goat or lamb, mix well and cook until its coated well with the masala.
  6. Now add a cup of water, curry masala powder, coriander powder, salt to taste mix well and bring to boil.
  7. Now add the ground coconut. Cover the pressure cooker and cook fro 2 whistle.
  8. Once the pressure is release serve the korma with paratha.

NOTES:

  1. Goes well with paratha.
