INGREDIENTS:
- Mutton (goat or lamb) meat - 200 grams
- Onion - 1
- Tomato - 1
- Ginger paste - 1 teaspoon (tsp)
- Garlic paste - 1 teaspoon (tsp)
- Turmeric powder - 1/4 teaspoon (tsp)
- Hot chili powder - 1 and 1/2 teaspoon (tsp)
- Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon (tsp)
- Salt - as needed
- Coriander leaves - 1/2 cup
- Mint leaves - 1/4 cup
- Grated coconut - 1 cup
- Oil - 2 tablespoon (tbsp)
- Hot green chili - 2
PREPARATION:
- Cut onion and tomatoes into small pieces.
- Grind in a blender mint leaves, coriander leaves, hot green chili and grated coconut. Add water as needed.
- Mix mutton with ginger paste, garlic paste and marinate for 1/2 hours.
- In a pan add marinated mutton, turmeric powder, hot chili powder, coriander powder, cut onions, cut tomatoes, oil, 2 cups of water and cook until it starts to boil.
- Now add the ground mint leaves, coriander leaves, hot green chili and grated coconut and cook until the meat is cooked and korma reaches a thick consistency. (takes about 15 to 20 min)
- Korma is ready to be served.
