INGREDIENTS:
- Ground lamb or goat meat - 1/2 kilogram
- Finely chopped onion - 1 cup
- Ginger garlic paste - 2 tablespoon (tbsp.)
- Garam masala powder - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Curry leaf - 2 sprig
- Oil - 2 tablespoon (tbsp.)
- Salt - as needed.
- -- Grind to Coarse --
- Fresh shredded coconut - 3/4 cup
- Dry chili - 4
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Fennel seed - 2 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Garlic - 2 clove
- -- For Tempering --
- Coconut oil - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Curry leaf - 2 sprig
PREPARATION:
- Grind coarsely ingredients under the section "-- Grind to Coarse --".
- Heat oil and sauté the onion. once the onion is sautéed add the ginger garlic paste and sauté until the raw smell is gone.
- Now add the ground meat, turmeric powder, curry leaves, garam masala powder, salt, 1/4 cup of water; cover with a lid and cook until the meat is cooked and all the water is evaporated.
- Now add the ground paste, mix well and cook for 3 to 4 minutes or until the raw smell is gone. In a different pan heat coconut oil and add curry leaf once the curry leaf stop splattering add this to cooking meat.
- After the the tempering is added cook for couple of minutes and serve.
