INGREDIENTS:
- Mutton pieces - 1/2 kg
- Chili powder - 1/2 tablespoon (tbsp.)
- Green chilies - 5
- Boiled potatoes - 1/4 kilogram
- Turmeric - 1 teaspoon(tsp.)
- Oil - 50 milliliter
- Chopped garlic - 5 cloves
- Chopped onion - 1/2 kilogram
- Ginger - 1 piece
- Vinegar - 1 tablespoon (tbsp.)
- Salt - as required
PREPARATION:
- Grind green chilies, ginger, turmeric powder and vinegar into fine paste by adding little water if needed.
- Pressure cook or cook the mutton by adding little water as needed. Note: the mutton will release water as well.
- In a pan heat oil. Sauté onion until they turn translucent.
- Now cube the potato into small pieces and add it.
- Now add the cooked mutton with cooked water, ground masala, salt, water as needed.
- Cover with lid and cook until oil separates and serve. NOTE: time to time stir so the roast does not get burnt.
NOTES:
- Note you can boil the potato with mutton. if using pressure cooker please boil them separate.
