Soak raw rice in water. Filter the water and dry this a tower until all moisture is gone. Grind this to a powder (don't add any water.
In a bowl break the egg and beat well. Now add coconut milk, sugar and beat well.
Now add the rice powder little by little and string until you get a batter (consistent to dosai batter) NOTE: if the batter is too thick the murukku will be hard.
Heat oil in a pan. dip the murukku achu to get heated. Dip this in batter 3/4th and drop it oil. Deep fry them until golden brown and serve. NOTE: if you dip the achu fully murukku will be hard to drop in oil.
Caution making them need some practice especially dipping in batter and dropping in oil.
Cook in batches so the oil is not cooled down and murukku is crowded.
