INGREDIENTS:
- Cooked chicken pieces - 1/2 cup (small pieces)
- Corn - 2 cob
- Milk - 1/2 cup
- Corn flour - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Unsalted butter - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Egg - 1
- Black pepper powder - as needed
- Plain chicken stock or chicken boiled water - as needed (3 cup)
- Salt - as needed
PREPARATION:
- Beat the egg and keep it aside.
- Remove the corn from the cob add little water and cook them. Grind the cooked corn in a blender (mixer) and filter the corn with a strainer. Keep aside the corn pulp and the liquid.
- Melt butter in a pan, add the chicken pieces and roast them. Now salt as needed and the liquid filtered from the ground corn. Cook this for few minutes.
- Now add the milk, chicken stock or chicken water and and bring the soup to boil.
- In the mean time, Dissolve the corn flour by adding water and cook until it thickens. Now add the corn flour to boiling soup.
- Add the egg very slowly to the soup and stir gently. this will allow the egg to cook and form threads.
- Once the egg is cooked. Remove the soup and serve with soy sauce or chili sauce.
