  1. Rava - 200 gram
  2. Sugar - 250 gram
  3. Whole milk - 500 gram
  4. Crushed cardamom - 3
  5. Cahshew nut - as needed
  6. Raisin - as needed
  7. Ghee - as needed
  8. Salt - as needed


  1. In a bowl add rava, salt, water as needed and make a hard soft dough. Now make small balls in shape of kolukattai and keep it aside until they are dried (until moisture is gone).
  2. Heat milk, sugar, crushed cardamom and bring to boil.
  3. Reduce the heat to simmer and Add the dried kolukattai's to milk and cook them.
  4. In another pan roast the cashew nuts, raisins to golden brown and add to the milk
  5. Remove from heat and serve.


  1. Be gentle and avoid stirring when you cook them or the kolukattai will dissolve in milk.
