INGREDIENTS:
- Ragi flour - 400 grams
- Shredded jaggery (or) Palm jaggery (or) brown sugar - 100 grams
- Shredded coconut - 1 cup
- Salt - as needed
- Banana leaves (cut) - 20 or 25
PREPARATION:
- In a bowl add ragi flour, jaggery, coconut, salt and make a soft dough like we do for chapatti.
- Now make ball size of big lemon out of the dough.
- On a banana leaf place a ball and flatten it to think round sheet. Then fold it half and press the dough. Continue the same process for the remaining balls.
- Steam these for about 15 - 20 minutes or until cooked and serve.
