OPOS – one pot one shot. Let see how to cook kurma with this technique.

INGREDIENTS:
- Chopped carrot, green bean, potato, green pea - 1 cup
- Chopped onion - 1 big
- Chopped tomato - 1 big
- Boiled milk - 1 cup
- Ghee - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Cinnamon stick, clove, cardamom, Nutmeg powder - little
- Salt - as needed
- Oil - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
- ---------------------------------------------
- ---- Grind to paste -------
- ----------------------------------------------
- Coconut - 2 piece
- Poppy seed - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Yogurt or curd - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Ginger - 1 piece
- Garlic - 6 clove
- Garam masala - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Chili powder - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Cashew nut - 10 counts
PREPARATION:
- Grind all the ingredients under section "---- Grind to paste -------" into fine paste by adding less water as possible.
- In a pressure cooker add 1/2 tumbler water, ghee, oil, Cinnamon stick, clove, cardamom, Nutmeg powder.
- Now spread onion, tomato.
- Now spread chopped vegetables ( carrot, green bean, potato, green pea ), 1/2 tumbler of water, salt as needed. NOTE: Never stir in any step.
- Now close the pressure cooker, place the whistle and cook for 2 whistle. Once the pressure is gone. open the lid and add milk and mix well
- Now kurma is ready to serve.
NOTES:
- Goes well with chapati, puri, appam, iddiyappam.
