Cut idlies into cubes and fry them in oil or ghee.
Finely chop lengthwise the vegetables and onion .
Heat 3 tablespoons (tbsp.) of oil and add onions, ginger garlic paste and sauté until they become well till it becomes golden brown.
Add tomatoes and sauté for 2 minutes.
Add the vegetables, required salt and chili powder and sauté them well. When it is half sautéed, add 1 glass of water and cook the vegetables in low flame.
When the vegetables are almost cooked until very little water is left, add the fried idlies and mix it without breaking and cook for another two minutes.
