INGREDIENTS:
- Quinoa - 3 cup
- Idli rice - 1 cup
- Black gram - 1 1/2 cup
- Salt - as needed
PREPARATION:
- Soak quinoa in water for 4 hours.
- Soak idli rice in water for 4 hours
- Soak black gram in water for 2 hours.
- In a wet grinder grind soaked black gram in to batter by adding water as needed. Black gram should be ground to butter consistency.
- Now grind quinoa, idli rice together to a thick fine batter.
- Mix the rice, black gram batter, salt and leave it to ferment for 8 hours.
- Once the batter is fermented make idli out of them and serve.
NOTES:
- Soak quinoa, idli rice, black gram separately.
- Idli rice is optional as well.
