Rava dhokla is famous Gujarathi dish. Its quick and easy to make. Its like rava idli with a twist.

INGREDIENTS:
- Rava - 1 cup
- Yogurt or Curd - 1/4 cup
- Chili powder - 1/4 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Black pepper powder - 1/4 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Oil - 2 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Eno (fruit salt) or Baking soda - 1 or 1/2 teaspoons (tsp.)
- Salt - as needed

- Mustard seed - 1/4 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Cumin seed - 1/4 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Chopped Green chili - 2
PREPARATION:
- Mix Rava, Yogurt or Curd, salt, Eno (fruit salt) or Baking soda to make idli batter and keep it aside for 30 minutes. NOTE: add water as needed if you need to
- To make idli’s. Spoon batter onto an idli(idly) stand.
- Garnish each idli with black pepper and chili powder.
- Heat water in idli(idly) cooker, and place stand in.
- Steam for 5-7 minutes.
- Insert a clean matchstick (back end) or a skewer. The skewer should come out clean if the idli’s are done.
- Once the Idli are cooked.
- Heat oil in a pan. add mustard seeds, cumin seeds and chopped chili. Once the mustard seeds stop splattering spread over the dhokla and serve.
