INGREDIENTS:
- Vanjaram fish (seer fish ) pieces - 1/2 kilogram
- Garlic paste - 2 tablespoon (tbsp.)
- Chili powder - 1 tablespoon (tbsp.)
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 tablespoon (tbsp.)
- Black pepper powder - 1/2 tablespoon (tbsp.)
- Unsalted Soy sauce (optional) - 1 tablespoon (tbsp.)
- Oil - for frying.
- Salt - as needed
PREPARATION:
- In bowl add all the ingredients except fish and oil and mix them to a thick paste.
- Now add this paste to the fish. Mix well and coat the fish well. Keep this aside for 30 minutes in a fridge or outside.
- Heat oil in pan and fry the fish pieces both side to golden brown and serve.
NOTES:
- Add soy sauce will give a different taste.
- If you use salted soy sauce be careful with salt.
- Fish should be 1/2 inch to an inch thick for best result.
