INGREDIENTS:
- Fish (Sardine or Anchovy) - 1/2 kilogram
- Chili powder - 2 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Gram flour - 3 tablespoon (tbsp.)
- Dry rosemary herb (optional) - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Lemon juice - from 1/2 lemon
- Salt - as needed
- Oil - for shallow fry
PREPARATION:
- In a bowl add fish, chili powder, turmeric powder, gram flour, dry rosemary, lemon juice, salt as needed. Mix well and marinate this for 1 hour.
- In a pan heat oil and fry the fishes until they turn golden brown and serve. NOTE: fry the fishes in batches for good result. i.e. keep the oil heat to 350 degree Fahrenheit.
