INGREDIENTS:
- Boiled Egg - 4
- Shallot (sambar onion) - 5
- Black pepper - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Cumin seed - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Turmeric powder - a pinch
- Curry leaf - 1 sprig
- Salt - as needed
PREPARATION:
- Cut the boiled egg vertically into 2 halves.
- Grind shallot, black pepper, cumin seed, turmeric powder, curry leaf into fine thick paste.
- Coat the half egg with the paste without breaking the yolks. NOTE: you can remove the yolk apply the paste and place the yolk back as well. Marinate this for an hour.
- Heat a skillet coated with oil. Now place the halved egg in a row. Simmer and cook these both sides until the raw smell is gone and browed well.
