INGREDIENTS:
- Hard boiled egg - 4
- Thinly sliced onion - 2
- Thinly sliced tomato - 1
- Slit green chili - 2
- Ginger, garlic paste - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Curry leaf - 8
- Chili flakes - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon (tbsp.)
- Chili garlic sauce or tomato sauce - 1 1/2 tablespoon (tbsp.)
- Oil - 2 tablespoon (tbsp.)
- Salt - as needed.
PREPARATION:
- Roast the egg in oil and keep it aside. NOTE: make sure the egg has not water on it.
- In a pan heat oil. add onion, green chili, curry leaves and sauté until onion turn translucent (golden brown).
- Now add the ground paste and cook until the raw smell is gone.
- Now add the tomato, salt and cook until they become mushy.
- Now add the chili flakes, soy sauce, chili garlic sauce or tomato sauce and sauté until the sauces raw smell is gone. NOTE: you can use chili powder instead of chili flakes.
- Now add the roasted egg and sauté until the egg is well coated with masala and serve.
NOTES:
- Goes well with fried rice, tomato rice, rice.
